Founder's Message
Music has been the heartbeat of my life for over a decade, shaping my journey both personally and professionally. From earning my Bachelor’s in Music at Christ University to curating over 500 live performances as Programming Head at Social, my experiences taught me that true musical growth requires not just talent, but mentorship and opportunity.
I founded Sound and Music Academy (SAMA) to create a space where passion, discipline, and creativity converge. Here, students don’t just learn instruments—they experience the art, the science, and the spirit of music. Whether your dream is to perform on stage, compose melodies, or build a career in music, SAMA is here to guide you.
Let’s build a thriving musical community together.

Angel Jain
Head of Vocal & Dance Department
Angel’s voice and stage presence have earned her accolades in multiple competitions, but her true passion lies in sharing her art with others. A graduate in Classical Music from MIT ADT University, Pune, she leads SAMA’s vocal and dance programs with equal parts discipline and warmth. From Kathak and semi-classical Bollywood to high-energy Zumba, Angel creates an environment where students feel encouraged to explore, express, and excel — on stage and beyond.

Dev
Guitar Faculty
Dev has spent years mastering the guitar’s many voices — from gentle acoustic fingerpicking to soaring electric solos. His approach to teaching goes beyond chords and scales, helping students truly connect with the instrument and develop their own sound. At SAMA, he blends technical skill-building with creative exploration, ensuring that every learner, no matter their starting point, discovers the joy and freedom of making music.

Manan
Drums Faculty
Manan’s drumming is all about energy, precision, and groove. Having played across genres from rock and pop to funk and fusion, he knows how to keep rhythm both tight and expressive. In his classes, students learn not just to keep time, but to feel it — developing coordination, technique, and the confidence to drive any band forward. At SAMA, Manan turns practice into pure musical momentum.

Gupreet
Tabla, Harmonium & Vocal Faculty
Gurpreet has a deep-rooted connection with Indian classical music, specialising in tabla and harmonium. His teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in rhythm, melody, and expression, while keeping classes engaging for students of all ages. He brings a calm, encouraging approach to every lesson, making traditional music feel both accessible and inspiring.

Yash
Keyboard, Harmonium & Vocal Faculty
Yash is a multi-talented musician who moves easily between instruments and voice. Comfortable with both classical and contemporary styles, he helps students develop their skills in a way that’s structured yet enjoyable. Whether guiding a harmonium alap, a keyboard piece, or a vocal exercise, Yash focuses on helping learners grow in confidence and musical understanding.

Ritika
Kathak & Zumba Dance Faculty
Ritika brings the elegance and discipline of Kathak to life in her classes. She emphasises clarity of movement, rhythm, and storytelling, helping students connect to the art form’s rich traditions. Her sessions are both structured and welcoming, encouraging dancers to grow technically while enjoying the beauty of classical dance.
